Kailasa ("Kailasa-Shiva Manifestation", "we", "our", or "the app") is a spiritual wellness application developed by Kailasa MD. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Android application (package: dev.pages.k_ejr2.twa).

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: If you choose to create an account to sync your progress across devices, we collect your email address and an encrypted password. Account creation is optional — the app works fully offline without an account.

App Usage Data: We store your in-app progress locally on your device, including mantra counts, session history, streak data, and preferences. This data is stored in your device's local storage and is not transmitted unless you opt in to cloud sync by creating an account.

Purchase Information: If you make an in-app purchase (e.g., Sadhu Unlock), the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We receive a purchase verification token from Google to confirm your purchase status. We do not collect or store your payment card details, billing address, or other financial information.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the app's core functionality (mantra counting, spiritual practices, progress tracking)
To sync your progress across devices if you create an account
To verify and deliver in-app purchases
To restore your purchase status when you reinstall the app

3. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: Your progress data is stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the app without an account, this data will be lost.

Cloud Sync: If you create an account, your progress data is securely synced and stored using Supabase (our cloud database provider). Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Supabase stores data in compliance with industry-standard security practices.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

Google Play Billing — for processing in-app purchases. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Supabase — for optional account authentication and cloud data sync. Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not share your data with advertisers.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data is shared only with the third-party service providers listed above, solely for the purposes described in this policy.

6. Children's Privacy

Our app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Use without an account: You can use the app fully offline without creating an account or providing any personal information.
Delete your account: You can sign out at any time from the Profile screen. To request complete deletion of your cloud-synced data, contact us at the email below.
Local data: You can clear the app's local data through your device's Settings > Apps > Kailasa > Clear Data.

8. Data Retention

Local data is retained on your device until you clear it or uninstall the app. Cloud-synced data is retained as long as your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
