Kailāsa is a spiritual wellness app built around Shiva bhakti. It offers japa mala counting, a 40-day manifestation course, daily affirmations, mantras, guided breathing, journaling, and virtual pooja — all within a single self-contained progressive web app.
Kailāsa stores your data locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. This includes your name, chosen manifestation goal, mantra preference, course progress, streak count, journal entries, and Pro status.
If you choose to create an account, your email address and the data listed above are also stored on our cloud database (hosted by Supabase in the Mumbai region) to enable cross-device sync. Account creation is entirely optional — the app works fully without it.
We do not use analytics tracking, advertising, or third-party SDKs beyond our cloud database provider.
The app is hosted on Cloudflare, which may log standard web request data (IP address, user agent) as part of its infrastructure. This is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
If you purchase Kailāsa Pro through the Google Play Store, payment processing is handled entirely by Google. We do not see or store your payment details. Google's handling of your data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Your Sankalpa Journal entries are stored in your browser's local storage. If you have an account, they are also synced to our cloud database. If you clear your browser data or use the "Reset all data" option in the app, your journal entries will be permanently deleted from both your device and the cloud.
If you create an account, your profile and progress data are stored on Supabase servers in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region. Your password is hashed and never stored in plain text. We do not share your data with any third parties. Supabase's handling of infrastructure security is governed by Supabase's Privacy Policy.
Kailāsa is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

You can delete all your data at any time by opening the app, going to More, and tapping "Reset all data." This removes your local data and, if you are signed in, also clears your cloud profile. To delete your account entirely, contact us at the email below.
If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
